Terms and conditions

1. Operator
These terms apply to van rental services offered under the Vanture brand by MarioNet d.o.o. (full name: MarioNet, programske rešitve in druge storitve, d.o.o.), Studenška ulica 109, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia. Registration number: 9574263000. Tax / VAT ID: SI25287265. Contact: travel@vanture.si.
2. Scope of services
Vanture offers short-term rental of a passenger van and optional extras (for example child seats, roof box, camping kit, bike rack, airport pickup, or full-tank start). Exact vehicle details, availability, and pricing are confirmed for each booking.
3. Booking requests and contract
Submitting a request on the website is an enquiry, not an automatic contract. A binding rental agreement is formed only when we confirm availability in writing (email is sufficient) and you accept the confirmed dates, price, extras, pickup location, and any special conditions.
4. Driver requirements
Every driver must hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle category, meet the minimum age and licence-holding period communicated at booking, and be fit to drive. We may refuse handover if requirements are not met.
5. Documents at pickup
At pickup you must present a valid driving licence, identity document, and any other documents listed in your confirmation. The main renter must be present unless we agree otherwise in writing.
6. Use of the vehicle
The van may be used only for lawful private travel. Prohibited without prior written consent: smoking, transporting illegal goods, racing, off-road use beyond normal paved or marked roads, towing (unless expressly allowed), and subletting or handing the vehicle to unauthorized drivers.
7. Territory
Unless your confirmation states otherwise, the van may be driven in Slovenia and neighbouring EU/Schengen countries. Travel outside that area requires our prior written approval. You are responsible for vignettes, tolls, ferries, and local traffic rules.
8. Fees, deposit, fuel, and extras
Rental price, extras, deposit amount, payment method, and fuel policy are set out in your confirmation. A refundable security deposit may be blocked or collected at pickup and released after we inspect the vehicle, subject to deductions for damage, missing fuel, cleaning, fines, or other rental-related costs.
9. Insurance and liability
The vehicle is covered by compulsory insurance according to Slovenian law. An excess (franchise) may apply and will be stated in your confirmation. You are liable for damage, loss, theft, interior soiling beyond normal use, and traffic fines or penalties arising during the rental, to the extent permitted by law and your confirmation.
10. Accidents, breakdowns, and damage
In case of accident, theft, or serious damage you must notify the police when required, contact us without delay, and not arrange repairs yourself unless we instruct you to do so. For breakdowns, follow the roadside assistance instructions provided at pickup.
11. Return of the vehicle
Return the van on time, at the agreed place, with the agreed fuel level, with all keys/accessories, and in a reasonably clean condition. Late returns, missing accessories, or extraordinary cleaning may be charged as stated in your confirmation.
12. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and change rules (including possible fees) depend on timing and are stated in your confirmation. If you do not collect the vehicle as agreed (no-show), charges may apply according to that confirmation. We may cancel if the vehicle becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control; in that case we will offer an alternative or refund prepaid rental amounts for unused days.
13. Personal belongings
We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Courts in Maribor have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.
